What is ID Verification?

We are committed to making sure OnRotate is a safe place to lend and rent your wardrobe.

Every Member who lists a wardrobe with our Platform and/or rents items above a certain value, has to complete our ID Verification Process for our combined peace of mind.

The process takes 2 minutes to complete and will ask for a photo as well as a copy of your identity document, driver’s licence or passport. If we are unable to verify you (if, for example, you have a foreign ID), we may ask for additional information such as a utility bill or proof of South African address.

Please note: Your ID documentation is not stored by us. All documentation is held by a secure third party and will not be shared with other Lenders or Renters. All data is transmitted and stored using encryption technology.
