Meet Our Rotators: Roxy D’Oliveira

by | Jan 12, 2023

Why did you decide to join the Rental Revolution with Onrotate and share your wardrobe?

As a fashion student, every day I am made aware of the lack of sustainability in the fashion industry. It has become increasingly dangerous to the environment to be buying fast fashion. Although thrifting is a good solution, it still has its downfalls as people start to thrift too much and lose track of a sustainable mindset. Onrotate is the best possible solution to the fast fashion crisis. Sharing clothing with the world does no harm. It’s fun to wear something new whilst knowing you have done no harm to the planet. I am so grateful to be a part of the Onrotate Community.

If you had to describe your style in three words, what would they be?

Classy, minimalistic and neutral.

Whose wardrobe would you most like to rent – dead, alive or fiction?

It has to be between Audrey Hepburn, Bella Hadid and Matilda Djerf.

What are your favourite pieces from other Lenders’ wardrobes on the Platform?

I love the variety of dresses from other Lenders. From the simplistic dresses to the over the top, fabulous ones!

If you could be a colour or a print which one would you be and why?

This is a tough one. As of currently, prints are a bit out of my comfort zone but I cannot wait to fill my wardrobe with more prints. If I could be a colour I would probably choose red surprisingly! I think red is such a statement colour and represents the most intense emotions such as love and anger. It’s a classy colour with lots of depth.

What is the most treasured item in your wardrobe?

I unfortunately do not own luxury items myself but that is what Onrotate is for 😉 My most treasured items would probably be my vegan leather blazer. Blazers are my go to jacket and the leather adds such a stylish touch to it! It can be styled with almost anything.
