Meet Our Rotators: Dorita Correia

by | Nov 15, 2022

Why did you decide to join the Rental Revolution with OnRotate and share your wardrobe?

This was an easy one for me. I love expressing my personality and my mood through what I’m wearing, but I have become very conscious over the years about the impact of fast fashion on the environment. I have a very experimental style with a love for bold colour and print and to be honest am a bit of a trend junkie so sharing my wardrobe with and renting from others really allows me to get my fix without the guilt.

If you had to describe your style in three words, what would they be?

Bold, playful and colourful.

Whose wardrobe would you most like to rent – dead, alive or fiction?

Mmmm great question. Am going to have to say Harry Styles (just love how much fun he has with fashion) and Carrie Bradshaw for the same reason.

What are your favourite pieces from other Lenders’ wardrobes on the Platform?

Whilst I love a dress and a midi dress in particular as I find that style really suits my shape, my next obsession is definitely shoes so I’m LOVING Shanaz’s selection and in particular ALL of her ankle boots. Shame we’re not the same size though else I’d be taking them all out for a spin.

If you could be a colour or a print which one would you be and why?

Another great question. Guess I’d never choose because I’m all about prints and colour whether it be bold pinks or greens, florals or geometric shapes. I LOVE THEM ALL.

What is the most treasured item in your wardrobe?

I’m not an overly sentimental person so I find this question quite hard to answer.

If I had to choose thought it would be my wedding shoes which I bought from a beautiful independent store in Rome on the Via Del Corso with my bestie in tow.

I’ve only worn them once (shame I know) as I’m terrified to ruin them, but I regularly bring them down from the top shelf of my closet to stare lovingly at them, reminisce about the fun I had finding them, the joy I felt wearing them and the secret hope that one of my daughters will choose to do the same one day.
